Binding
Book Binding in Karachi
Sewn text blocks, cased by hand, with slipcases made to match.

Sewn to open flat. Built to last.
Section sewing is slower than perfect binding and it is the reason a book still opens flat after twenty years. We sew, round, back and case in-house, and we make the slipcase from the same board and paper so the two arrive together.

We will bind from 25 copies for a hand-sewn or institutional job. Machine-sewn runs are economical from 300. Single presentation copies are also possible and we do them regularly.
Lead time
Two to three weeks for a sewn case binding of a few hundred copies. Slipcases and gilded edges add about a week. Rush single copies can be done in a few days.
Custom sizes and finishes
Trim size, paper, endpapers, head bands, spine shape and case material are all chosen per title. We bind a blank dummy in your stock so you can check bulk and spine width before printing.
